Care principles
Care is provided at your home by an independent nurse authorised by the Cantonal Medical Office. An initial assessment is carried out to define your needs, in collaboration with your physician.
Home nursing services
My services are covered by Swiss health insurance under OPAS art. 7 (Ordinance on Benefits Provided by the Health Insurance).
- Assessment and coordination — medical-social, somatic and psychiatric
- Guidance and counselling: information, health education, prevention, health promotion and support for family carers

Billing and insurance
Services are covered by Swiss health insurance (LAMal) and are part of a catalogue of benefits agreed with insurers and the Confederation. An OPAS prescription is issued and signed by your physician, and renewed every six months or when your situation changes. Billing follows the direct-payment system: the invoice is sent directly to your insurer, who then pays you back according to your franchise.

Information management
I use a digital patient file that you may access if needed. If I 'm absent, a colleague may stand in if needed. Your situation is regularly reassessed; where helpful, I can suggest a collaboration with other independant nurses or a private healthcare organization . With your consent, I may share relevant information with the other health professionals involved in your care.

Ending the care relationship
You may stop care at any time, in which case I will inform your physician. Likewise, I may end the care arrangement in case of disagreement, while observing a transition period so that your care can be handed over to another professional.
